Clear, practical real estate guidance for buyers, renters, and homeowners in North Houston.

Real estate shouldn’t feel this confusing.

You don’t need to already understand mortgages, property taxes, closing costs, MUDs, HOAs, inspections, or how much house you should buy.

You just need a place to start.

I created this site for people who want to understand what they’re getting into before they make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Here, you’ll find straightforward explanations, real-world examples, local market context, and tools designed to help you make decisions based on your actual situation, not generic advice.

Thinking About Buying?

Figure out whether buying makes sense, what you can comfortably afford, how much cash you may need, and how to prepare.

I’m not here to convince you to buy a house.

I’d much rather help you figure out that you should rent for another year than pressure you into buying before you’re ready.

My job is to help you understand your options.

That might mean comparing rent against ownership, modeling different purchase prices, explaining why two similarly priced homes can have wildly different monthly payments, or helping you understand what needs to happen before buying makes sense.

The goal is not to buy as fast as possible.

The goal is to buy smarter.

Hi! I’m Jessica.

I’m a North Houston real estate agent and an unapologetic numbers-and-research person.

I got into real estate because I’m fascinated by the financial side of homeownership: what makes a purchase make sense, what makes one property a better decision than another, and how real estate can fit into a much bigger plan for building wealth.

I also know how intimidating the process looks when nobody has ever explained it to you.

So that’s what I do here.

I research. I run the numbers. I explain what they mean. You decide what makes sense for you.

Curious what buying could look like for you?

You don’t have to be ready to buy.

If you’re currently renting or considering a move, I can help you start with the numbers and understand what questions you should be asking.
